Todmorden Unitarian Church

About us

Todmorden Unitarian Church is run by a dedicated committee who, along with the guidance of The Historic Chapels Trust and a network of volunteers, oversee every aspect of this grand, remarkable building.
This includes a wide range of duties, from the care and upkeep of the bell tower, to venturing in to the vaults, from documenting and preserving the historical documents relating to the church, to planning future events. All this and more is done by our devoted and enthusiastic group.

The TUC team engage with the local community, organising unique events and activities, such as the dedicated gardening team, who among other duties, help create and maintain the beautiful Memorial Garden.

In 2014 the Church Bells were restored and can now be rung for weddings & other events.   For more details of this, or if you would like to learn to ring the bells, please contact Helen Rigby.
